🎉Celebrating Annabel Elliot’s 1 Year Work Anniversary🎉

We would like to say thank you to Annabel for her dedication to the team, hard work and always putting a smile on clients faces. 🌟

We asked Annabel…

What do you enjoy most about working for this company?

I enjoy working at S Smith & Co for many reasons, one being that it has fantastic management. Working at S Smith & Co where the management is ran so well definitely creates a positive and supportive work environment. Stephanie and Natalie always make us feel valued and motivate us to do our best.

How has your role evolved over time since you’ve been here?

When I originally started working at S Smith & Co, my main responsibility was to prepare records so that other employees could finish the accounts and returns. My duties have grown with time, and I now prepare and complete capital gains, VAT, and tax returns. It’s exciting learning new processes and rewarding when I look back at how much I have accomplished in the past year.

How has working with your colleagues and team members influenced your overall experience?

We are really fortunate to have such an incredible team at S Smith & Co. With everyone, I’ve been able to establish a solid working relationship, which undoubtedly helps with our efficient communication, collaboration, and support. It not only makes work even more enjoyable, but it also enables us to exchange ideas and support one another when necessary. Developing and maintaining those relationships with my team has really improved my whole work experience.

As the festive season is coming up, we decided to ask Annabel what her favourite thing to do at Christmas time is?

My favourite activity to do over the Christmas season is go present shopping. I get really excited about the process of purchasing and wrapping gifts that I have bought for others because I love to make sure they are meaningful and unique!

What is your favourite biscuit to eat the office?

I find this difficult to answer because, as the team know, I am the workplace cookie monster; that being said, oaties (Aldi’s better version of a hobnob) are the perfect sweet treat to pair with my morning coffee.
