Are you aware of the allowable expenditure you can claim against your tax return?

As a sole trader there are lots of different expenses you can claim for running your business. 💼

 

There are a range of costs that could reduce your tax bill, including:

• Accountancy fees
• Advertising and marketing
• Travel and motor expenses
• Insurance
• Rent and utilities
• Staff costs
• Bank charges
• Phone and internet bills
• Stationery, postage, and packaging
• Subscriptions

 

But it’s not just the obvious ones 👇

 

You may also be able to claim:
• Use of your home as an office – based on the hours you work from home
• Uniform or branded clothing – as long as it clearly represents your business
• Training costs – if it helps you maintain or improve your current skills
