You MUST register if:

✔ Your taxable turnover goes over £90,000 in the last 12 months, OR

✔ You expect to go over £90,000 in the next 30 days

You can also choose to register voluntarily if you’re under the threshold but remember not everything counts towards the threshold (some VAT exempt/out of scope supplies don’t).

⚠️ Don’t forget: Once you go over the limit, you’ve got 30 days to register.

💡 Tip: Don’t leave it too late, late registration can mean backdated VAT + penalties.
